"The Banyan's Curse"

In a remote Indian village, nestled between sprawling fields, stands a massive, ancient banyan tree. The locals avoid it after sunset, calling it "Pishach Vriksha" (the Demon Tree). Legend has it that anyone who disturbs the tree at night never returns.

The story begins with Arjun, a young skeptic from the city, visiting his ancestral village. He laughs off the villagers' superstitions and vows to prove them wrong.

Plot Development:
One night, on a dare from his friends, Arjun walks up to the banyan tree with a flashlight. The air grows unnaturally cold, and whispers float on the breeze, though no one else is around. Arjun dismisses them as the wind and carves his name into the tree's trunk to show his defiance.

As he walks back, he starts hearing ghungroo bells, faint but growing louder. Turning around, he sees a woman draped in a red sari standing beneath the tree. Her back is turned, but her long hair sways unnaturally, as if moved by invisible hands.

“Who are you?” Arjun asks, his voice trembling.

The woman doesn’t reply but starts laughing—a low, guttural sound that grows louder, morphing into a chorus of voices. When she finally turns, her face is pale and eyeless, her mouth stretched into an inhuman grin.

Climax:
Arjun tries to run but finds himself back at the tree, no matter which direction he takes. The branches seem to come alive, twisting and grabbing at him. The whispers now chant his name, calling him to "join them."

He looks around and sees ghostly figures emerging from the shadows—men, women, and children, their faces marked with despair. They surround him, their bony fingers reaching for him as the woman in red watches with a malevolent smile.

Ending Scene:
The next morning, the villagers find Arjun's flashlight lying near the banyan tree. His name is now etched into its bark, just like countless others before him.

The banyan tree stands silent and unyielding, waiting for its next victim, as the village elders murmur prayers to ward off its curse.

This story blends Indian folklore and horror with a focus on eerie visuals like the woman in red, ghungroo bells, and the haunting banyan tree. Perfect for a chilling short video!
