The Haunted Mansion Mystery?
The Haunted Mansion Mystery
Near a small village stood an abandoned mansion, feared by all and whispered about in hushed tones. Locals called it "The Haunted Mansion," claiming to hear eerie sounds at night—doors creaking open, children laughing, and soft footsteps echoing in the silence.
One night, four friends—Aditya, Neha, Raghav, and Siya—decided to uncover its secrets. Despite villagers' warnings, they armed themselves with flashlights and ventured into the mansion at midnight. The air was thick with unease, and every shadow seemed alive.
Inside, they found bloodstains on the walls and strange symbols etched into the floors. Suddenly, Neha's flashlight flickered off. When she managed to turn it back on, they saw chilling words scrawled on the wall: "Leave now, or you’ll never leave at all."
Trembling but determined, they pushed forward and discovered a staircase leading to the basement. There, they found an old, dusty book that seemed alive, its pages flipping on their own. The book revealed a horrifying tale of a dark sorcerer who once lived in the mansion. He had sacrificed innocent souls to gain immortality, and their restless spirits still lingered.
As they tried to leave, the doors slammed shut. A shadowy figure with blood-red eyes appeared before them, whispering, “You have disturbed my peace. None of you shall escape.”
In the chaos, Neha noticed a note in the book that said burning it would end the curse. Summoning all her courage, she lit the book on fire. As it burned, the mansion shook violently, and the shadow let out a piercing scream before vanishing into nothingness.
The friends barely escaped before the mansion crumbled into ruins. By morning, it was as if the mansion had never existed. They vowed never to step into such a place again, but the memories of that horrifying night stayed with them forever.
Would you dare to enter such a mansion?
